Our Approach

P&A was created during the turbulent times of the S&L crisis of the 1980's and further refined our skills during the early 1990's when several mortgage bankers were liquidated as a result of the huge impairment losses. These are conditions that are likely building today. We facilitated the orderly liquidation of three mortgage companies, resulting in the maximization of creditor recoveries in excess of $350 million and the settlement of claims in excess of $1 billion. Additionally, P&A has been involved in portfolio reviews of over 30 failed thrifts and provided mortgage banking training to the FDIC, OTS, OCC and the Federal Reserve.

P&A leverages a pool of resources through its network of consultants, contractors and industry leading outsourcers. These resources have proven track records in being able to be deployed into challenging situations on short notice and deliver near instantaneous results.

Given the recent turbulence in the Sub Prime and Alt-A industry, P&A is transitioning itself to support the increasing needs of servicers, creditors and investors as they respond to the rapidly evolving market conditions.
